Answer Questions Completely and Clearly

Address all parts of the question completely and concisely. Try to find the right balance between saying too little and saying too much.

When your interviewers ask you a question and you aren’t sure what to respond, don’t be afraid to ask for clarification. If you aren’t sure what they mean, rephrase it in your own words and repeat it back to them.

For example, start out with, “By that, do you mean …….” They will either nod, and you can go ahead and answer. Or, they will clarify what they want to hear.
